    REGISTRATION INFORMATION

For the 2024 - 2025 school year, Kim Hung School is full in planned classes in: Grade One; Grade Three; Grade Four; and Grade Five

We are a Level 2, Closed Boundary school as defined by the Division's Growth Control Model. The only students accepted to our school during pre-enrolment are:

    1. New resident students who live in the school's designated attendance area
    2. Siblings of current resident students as long as both siblings will be attending the school next year, and both students pre-enrol before the pre-enrolment deadline
    3. After pre-enrolment closes, only resident students who have newly moved into the school's attendance area will be able to attend

Children who are five (5) years of age on or before December 31 of the current school year may register in Kindergarten.

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION: Register for school online through the Division website. Families may continue to register their child(ren) over the summer break and will be contacted after staff return to school in late August.

CURRENT STUDENT PRE-ENROLMENT: Each Spring, families need to pre-enrol their child(ren) for the coming school year using their parent account on SchoolZone.  Pre-enrolment helps families plan and allows schools to prepare based on the number of students expected to attend in the Fall.

For new students to the Division and current EPSB students wishing to change schools by selecting Kim Hung School during re-enrolment, we require the following documentation:

    1. An online registration form and *supporting documents (*new-to-Division students only)

Please note that Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) is the preferred transportation method for junior high students . 2. Siblings of current students who will be returning to the school the following year, unless otherwise determined by the Superintendent for a particular school.

If the student you are registering or pre-enrolling meets one of these criteria for the coming school year, please register them online (new students) or pre-enrol through SchoolZone (existing students).

Children who are five years of age on or before December 31, of the current school year may register in Kindergarten‌.  Schools start accepting new student registrations for the next school year in early February. Current students within Edmonton Public Schools who reside within the Granville, Glastonbury and The Hamptons communities will be able to pre-enroll through SchoolZone between mid March and mid April. Families may continue to register their child(ren) over summer break and will be contacted after staff return to school in late August. Please visit the Division website to learn how to register for school.
