A compassionate and courageous community who laughs, leads and learns together.
Kim Hung School is located in the Granville area and serves the communities of Granville, Glastonbury, and the dual-designation zone in The Hamptons. We offer regular programming for all students in Kindergarten through Grade 9. Kim Hung School is a closed boundary school. As outlined in Division regulations, the only new students accepted to our school during pre-enrolment are:
- Resident students who live within the attendance area.
- Siblings of current students who will be returning to the school the following year, unless otherwise determined by the Superintendent for a particular school.
If the student you are registering or pre-enrolling meets one of these criteria for the 2021-2022 school year, please register them online (new students) or pre-enrol through SchoolZone (existing students).
Following the close of pre-enrolment at 4 pm on April 15, 2021, the school will only accept resident students who have newly moved into the attendance area or resident students eligible for Kindergarten. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian that is non-Roman Catholic and who resides within the City of Edmonton. All non-resident students and those living outside our attendance area will have to enroll in another Division school, as space in planned classes permits.
Children who are five years of age on or before December 31, of the current school year may register in Kindergarten. Schools start accepting new student registrations for the next school year in early February. Current students within Edmonton Public Schools who reside within the Granville, Glastonbury and The Hamptons communities will be able to pre-enroll through SchoolZone between mid March and mid April. Families may continue to register their child(ren) over summer break and will be contacted after staff return to school in late August. Please visit the Division website to learn how to register for school.

Edmonton Public School’s cornerstone values of Accountability, Collaboration, Equity, and Integrity guide us in our professional work and nurture a school culture and environment where all students have the opportunity to reach their maximum potential. We use high-impact instructional practices to build core curricular competencies and foster a sense of curiosity and wonder in the children entrusted to our care. Our classrooms function as learning labs where students are able to experiment with a broad range of ideas and we actively engage parents & guardians as partners to help extend school-based learning out into the homes of the families we serve.
